SA Node : the SA Node is located in the right atrium. It consist of muscle cells, These muscle cells initiate their own electrical impulses and contract.
It’s also called the pace-maker because it regulates the rate of the contraction of the entire heart.
AV Node: the AV Node is located in the septum as in the figure above, The AV node relays the electrical impulses to the muscle cells that make up the
Ventricles so the ventricles contract.
