I have no concrete title yet or whatsoever, and this plot is still not polished and stuff, so I hope you'll bear with me if this sort of goes all over the place.

This is kind of AU. In this verse, R & Q haven't ever met yet. The main idea is that, R is sort of a big thing in theatre now, she just graduated from NYADA with the highest praise in her batch. Initial age should be around 21 or 22-ish. Her personality will be the matured version of her teen-age self. Where-as when she was 16, she was egoistic, annoying and sometimes self-centered, I'd like to build her character as a 21 or 22 year old woman who is not egoistic but self-assured-- confident, still annoying but now it comes with a filter, has a dry sense of humor, witty, selfless and has a big, big heart.

Q would be sort of the mystery character here. She'd be around 22 or 23, I'm pretty sure she's a year older than R, right? Anyway, in this fic, she's a fresh graduate of yale, highest honors. She double majored in english and business/corporate law. Her personality would pretty much be the same. Smothered by her family's teachings and beliefs since she was a small child, despite this though she's ambitious inside, she's very intelligent, diligent, hard working, sincere and bad at lying. Almost innocent in the way she brings herself. She brings up a lot of facades, the look-at-me-im-happy-and-content kind of facade but inside she's insecure, scared and she feels caged most of the time.

Anyhoo, on with the actual plot now that I've built their characters in a semi-solid state.

Rachel's driving home from Ohio to NY. She had just finished celebrating a little party with her dads for landing one of the lead role(s) in an up-coming play in broadway. (I haven't really decided which one yet). On the border of some-place-before-newyork and actually-newyork (I'd be doing research on the geography part very soon-ish), it would be around midnight and she goes through this road where there's no homes and stuff, and sees a car wreckage on the far side of the road, the engine smoking and fire starting to materialize. She calls 911 and approaches the car, somebody was trapped inside (hey, you guessed it! yes! it's Q.)-- and of course it's Quinn. In this verse, R's dads, Leroy and Hiram, is a doctor and a lawyer, respectively. Rachel's had her studies in first aid and what-not and successfully extracts a semi-unconscious Quinn from the car. And she sends Q to the hospital and so on.

The back story of Q would be that, she ran away from home. Actually, she ran away from a party. Her graduation party where her father, russell, announced that she will be marrying finn hudson. The fabray's would be running this big company, which means that they're freaking rich, and there's this company which the hudsons own that'll be merged with the fabrays when Q and Finnocent gets married. Quinn followed all her dad's morals and teachings and pretty much everything he wanted to do with her life. She isn't close to her dad at all, in-fact, Russel pretty much hates her, because she's not the first child. The story to that is, They used to be a really happy family, but an accident happened when Quinn was around 9 or something, I'll pick a really young age. Judy, her mom, Fran, her older sister, around 16 at this time (Fran here would be the model oldest sister, beautiful, intelligent and ambitious-- perfect) and Q was on the car, they were on their way home from visiting this lake house they owned somewhere. Russell was on a business meeting this time so there's just the three of them driving home from the vacation. It was late at night and it started to rain. Q was being grumpy since she's a kid, and keeps on taking off her seatbelt. And then Judy asks fran to buckle up her sister, so fran takes off her seat belt and leans back to the backseat to fix Q's seatbelt. A truck suddenly appears skidding to their direction and then it hits the car. Fran without her seatbelt, dies right away. Judy however, goes into this coma, and she eventually dies. However, Q survives. At this span of judy's coma, russell becomes distant, and hateful. When his wife eventually died, he threw himself into work, and Quinn, such a confused young soul, gets ordered around to do what her model sister should have been. All the while also blaming herself for what happened. She's had a trauma ever since and haven't driven a car when she can avoid it.
The first few chapters would be like some sort of a parallel time-line thing, lots of flashbacks about those memories in Q's past. Anyhoo, onto the present time. So R takes this stranger to the hospital. She doesn't know anything about Q, not her name, nothing. When Q ran away from the party, she takes a random car from the valet on the hotel where it is parked. She has nothing on her, just her phone, and her journal. The hospital then gives R Q's coat, with her journal on it. It's a leather-bound journal, worn out on the sides, with unlined paper and just a single initial on the brown cover "Q". R finds the journal and starts to read it to uncover Q's identity, while Q gets stuck onto this semi-coma state. R gets into the journal, and every entry is addressed to "Charlie". Quinn writes beautifully (she secretly wants to become a writer instead of running their family's company), and R being the sappy, drama queen person that she is, falls in-love with the words and everything about that Q wrote. Every entry is pretty much ended in the same manner, with the words "Sine Cera, - Q" Rachel desperately wants Quinn to wake up to get to know her, but when Q does, she's lost her memory. I'd pretty much insert a crazy-doctor-talk in here to say how she's got a partial amnesia, that it might be permanent or not, and etc. So R takes her in home and that's how things are going to happen in the beginning.

Just an additional plot, it's Dear Charlie, because when she was a kid, she used to be really very close to her mom. And her mom gave her this huge fluffy lion stuffed-toy that judy named Charlie, on that day where Russell missed her 8th birthday or something and Judy gave it to Quinn to cheer her up.
*Phew* That was a lot of words! Haha. So yeah, let me know if you're interested with this! Thanks for your time! :D
